Hello! My name is Karen Jolley and I am married to Mark Jolley, a CPA and partner with Plante Moran in Ann Arbor Michigan. We have two adult sons, Christopher and Stephen. Christopher works for The Buckley Jolley Real Estate Team as the Operations and Marketing Manager. Stephen works in Ypsilanti at a recording studio. We all love music. I spent many years singing, playing piano and organ, conducting and other. Now I enjoy listening to others play and sing. Both Chris and Steve tour with local bands and are busy most weekends with gigs. My husband Mark and I like to hear their bands play. Mark and I also enjoy sailing on Lake Erie where we have a cottage on Canadian Pelee Island. We have sailed frequently in the British and US Virgin Islands and plan to continue doing that once a year right after tax season.

I began my real estate career in 2000 when my oldest son was entering college. I was a an Occupational Therapist while my boys were growing up and was looking for a challenging change and I wanted to own my own business. I love being a business owner. In my 3rd year at my brokerage of over 100 agents, I was the highest producer. It was there that I met my future business partner Todd Buckley.

I enjoy reading, exchanging ideas with other agents from around the country, and being a part of a highly respected real estate team in the Livingston County area since 2004. One of my personal goals for 2010 is to become SCUBA certified so I can go diving with Mark on our next sailing trip. I recently took up photography and hope to capture some fantastic photos while on Pelee Island, a migratory stop for many birds.

God and family are priorities in my life and the source of my motivation and direction. I am looking forward to what is ahead as I continue this journey and the path God has put me on.
